About Us

Tom Dellaquila, ASLA

Tom began his career in Tucson, Arizona thirty years ago. Due to the high costs of water in this desert community, Tucson was the first area of the country to embrace low water use landscapes and the use of drip irrigation systems.

As a student at the University of Arizona, Tom learned about this type of design from Professor Warren Jones, one of the pioneers of low water use landscape architecture and former editor of The Sunset Garden Book and Plant Encyclopedia.

Over the past thirty years Tom has continued to refine his skills and create pleasant, green environments that have low water requirements, and that utilize drip irrigation systems. His built work includes several Master Planned Communities and City and County Parks, tens of thousands of residential units, several schools and many commercial and industrial developments.

Tom is a licensed Landscape Architect in Nevada, California and Arizona.
